Are you intimidated by the intensity and strain of sports? Is the closest gold cup you’ve come across a ”Mežpils” on a Friday night? Then come and join a low-intensity triathlon that won’t tire even the weakest slackers and the most hardened keyboard warriors. Get ready to compete for a gold medal in events like thumb wrestling, balloon popping, and rock-paper-scissors.
If all this already tires you just by reading it, you can simply participate as a spectator while enjoying the exhibition organized by the Free Art Movement association, purchase some trinkets at the art shop, or, if you’re strong enough, be entertained in the evening by the improvisational beatbox master B.U.R. and electronic music by DJ Teoria Psyches.
To participate in the triathlon, a participation fee of 1 euro must be paid before the event starts. Entrance is free for those attending as spectators or participating in other additional activities.
Triathlon winners will also receive prizes.
During the event, there will be an exhibition of artists’ works, and it will be possible to support the association’s activities by purchasing creative trinkets at the shop.
We will meet on July 26 at the Sporta 2 quarter, Sporta Street 2-k-3.
